Old Boy News

With tertiary qualifications in commerce and consumer behaviour, it comes as no surprise that Old Boy Matthew Isles (1988) embarked on a career in fast moving consumer goods. Following nine years at Mars Confectionery, he turned his attention to musical imports and sales. Two years later however, he found himself drawn back into the consumer goods industry and establishing his own business, Blue Sky Beverages. With plastic bottles becoming an icon of environmental damage and needless human waste, Matthew set about tackling this issue head on. In doing so he has well and truly hit the mark with the latest edition to his product range, Australia's first spring water in an infinitely recyclable aluminium bottle. These 100% aluminium bottles offer the same convenience without the environmental repercussions of single use plastic.

Furthermore and most impressively, the bottles can be bespoke printed on custom built eco-friendly printers. With the motto of Refill / Reuse / Recycle, Matthew has worked with retailers, hotel groups, councils, businesses and also collaborated with local artists to release their own bespoke designs. The Churchie Old Boys’ Association was proud to support Matthew recently by providing our own bespoke printed bottles to our Vintage Vikings at Churchie’s 2021 ANZAC Day service.
