Connect & Play with the Blue & Grey is an initiative of the Churchie Old Boys’ Association which promotes and acknowledges Old Boy participation in sport and other activities. The program includes competitions in tennis, basketball, volleyball, golf and a virtual chess tournament. Connect and Play in these competitions, which can be accessed via the COBweb, or simply enjoy them as a spectator.
The OBA Invitational Chess Tournament invites Churchie Old Boys, staff, current students, and their families to participate. The tournament is facilitated online in an Arena format and opposition players are automatically assigned. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join and showcase their chess skills from the comfort of their own home.
The 2025 Invitational Chess Tournament will be held on Sunday 16 February.

The OBA Invitational Golf Day is an event that brings together Churchie Old Boys and their guests for a fun yet competitive day on the green. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just looking to enjoy the day with friends, the OBA Golf Day offers a fantastic opportunity to catchup, compete, and connect with others in the Churchie community.
The 2025 Invitational Golf Day will be held on Friday 5 September.

The OBA Invitational Tennis Tournament brings together Churchie Old Boys, staff, current students, and their families for an evening of doubles matches. Players of all skill levels are welcome to attend.

The OBA Invitational TRL Tournament is a new initiative debuting in 2025. This inaugural event features teams comprised of 8 to 10 players, with a at least 50% of each team consisting of Old Boys. As the first of its kind, the tournament promises to be an exciting addition to the Connect & Play calendar.
The 2025 Invitational TRL Tournament will be held on 25 October.
